All participants remained cautious about the announcement, even if they feel that all the relevant arguments and intelligent associations have gradually their way among some elected officials. The mobilization is still required to approach the local elections for which associations are once again be involved and influence the candidates to commit themselves firmly against the project.
Anyway, whatever happens, the increase in traffic on the line of Bresse, due among other to the commissioning of the eastern branch of the future bypass and rail Lyon holds the attention of all.
Once again, all elected representatives present noted the lack of information on projects that will impact greatly, for hundreds of years, territories concerned.
Given this fact, unanimously, all participants called for a new time in an emergency briefing with RFF under the direction of the Prefect of Ain.
Moreover, the Collective STOP LGV, under the leadership of Jean Charles Mercier took advantage of the second part of the evening to strengthen its structures and prepare the following actions for 2011. The mobilization is expected to become stronger.
